(HURON) - A Huron man was arrested Thursday on charges of battery and strangulation after police were called to a domestic dispute.
44-year-old Robert W. Floyd, of Mitchell, was arrested after police were called to the 300 block of Huron Pike at 11:50 a.m.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig the female victim was arguing with Floyd about a child and that is when he allegedly put his arm around her and was choking her.
Craig says the victim suffered redness and scratches to the neck, but she did not require medical attention.
