(UNDATED) - An important deadline is approaching for applying for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
In order to be insured beginning Jan. 1 of next year, you must submit your application by Monday, Dec. 23.
To apply, visitwww.healthcare.gov or call (800) 318-2596.
The website also has a live chat option to assist in answering your questions as you apply .
