Bloomington Police Seeking Warrant For Man Who Hit Man In Head

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police have requested a warrant for man that allegedly entered an apartment in the 3100 block South Walnut Street Pike at 3:12 p.m. Saturday.

According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Ian Lovan, a 25-year-old man reported he was asleep on his couch in the apartment and woke up to another man yelling about someone taking his mail.

The other man hit the the 25-year-old man twice in the head, then took the man's laptop and left.

Sgt. Lovan says police know who the man is and are seeking a warrant charging the man with robbery and battery.
