Bloomington Man Suffered Minor Injuries In Crash

(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man suffered minor injuries after he crashed his vehicle on Tunnelton Road Sunday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report the accident happened at 2:49 p.m. on Tunnelton Road near Duncan Bend Road.

24-year-old Robert Sims, was traveling south on Tunnelton Road and told police he was not familiar with the road and was going too fast when he rounded a curve and lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet Impala.

The vehicle went off the roadway and collided with a utility pole and tree.

Sims complained of elbow and lower arm pain, but refused medical treatment at the scene. He told police his wife would take him to the hospital for treatment.
