(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police are investigating the death of a 77-year-old Bedford man.

Officers were called at 12:33 a.m. this morning reporting the man had been found dead at Oolitic Auto Sales.

"The cause of death is still under investigation," says Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley. "An autopsy will be performed this morning. That is all the information we can release for now until the results of the autopsy come back."

Parsley says Jimmy Goodman was found dead inside the building.

"We do not suspect foul play," Parsley says. "Mr. Goodman was discovered by his wife, who then contacted police."
