(UNDATED) - Vicky Bauernfiend of Shoals was awarded the Hoosier Uplands’ Community Services Award at the agency’s annual Christmas Dinner.
The award, first given in 1987, recognizes an outstanding individual from the Hoosier Uplands service area and is the highest honor given each year.
"Vicky has served on our board for the past 14 years. She is currently a member of the Executive Committee and also serves on our subsidiary board, Shawnee Development Corporation," says Hoosier Uplands Chief Executive Officer David Miller. "We are proud to have members like Vicky affiliated with Hoosier Uplands, she is an asset to this agency and her community."
Hoosier Uplands is a non-profit corporation that serves Lawrence, Orange, Washington, Martin and Crawford counties with a variety of social services and development.
