(Daviess Co.) - The Washington Police and Washington Mayor’s Office has authorized a curfew to be placed in effect for the Washington area.
The curfew will run today, November 17, and tomorrow, November 18, from dusk until dawn.
The curfew means that there are to be no citizens walking about throughout the city limits, nor should there be any driving on city roadways unless in the case of an emergency.
Washington Police, Daviess County Sheriff's Department, and the Indiana State Police are working to ensure that areas effected by the storm are safe and secure.
