More Than 3,000 To Participate In IU Dance Marathon To Combat AIDS

(BLOOMINGTON) - More than 3,000 students are expected to participate in the 23rd annual Indiana University Dance Marathon - a 36-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping event that since its inception has raised more than $14 million for the Ryan White Infectious Disease Center, named in honor the nation’s first prominent AIDS casualty.

The event, which will begin at 8 p.m. Nov. 15 and run through 8 a.m. Nov. 17, will take place at IU's Indoor Tennis Center at 1833 North Fee Lane on the IU campus.
