(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after he was involved in a domestic fight at his home in the 600 block of Stevens Lane early Monday morning.
According to Lawrence County Police, officers were called to the home at 1:05 a.m. after the woman dialed 911 and reported she had locked her husband out of the home and now he was trying to force his way back inside.
When police arrived they discovered the couple had been involved in a domestic fight in the presence of their children and that the woman suffered minor injuries.
Police arrested 38-year-old Ethan Bohnenkamp on charges of domestic battery in the presence of a minor and interfering with a 911 call.
Police say Bohnenkamp refused to allow the woman to call for help.
