(BLOOMINGTON) - Police arrested 29-year-old Anthony Steward-Mamy of Ellettsville on a preliminary charge of robbery after a woman reported that her cell phone was stolen out of her hand while she at the Monroe County Public Library on November 20.
The woman identified the man after a friend showed her a picture of the him from a social media website.
Ellettsville police found Steward-Mamy at the public library in Ellettsville on Sunday.
According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider, Steward-Mamy admitted to taking the phone and had thrown it in a bush near the library.
Officers were able to recover the phone.
