(MEDORA) - 33-year-old Keyla Weddel, a second grade teacher and mother of three, was well known and a loved member of the Medora community.
She lived in a mobile home located behind the residence of her parents Wanda and Glenn Freeman.
Kelya was last seen alive in the evening hours of August 17, or the early morning hours of August 18, 1988. She was murdered in the overnight or morning hours.
Her body was discovered in her mobile home by her mother in the morning hours of August 18, 1988. She had been bludgeoned to death in her bedroom.

Several "persons of interest" were questioned, but her killer still walks free.
Her sister and brother, Jackie Snodgrass and Duane Freeman of Medora, don't want the case to be forgotten.
The Indiana State Police need the public's help.
