(BLOOMINGTON) - The City of Bloomington will implement a new parking app which will allow drivers to find and pay for metered parking through their smart phones.
The app will allow smart phone users to pay for their metered parking and find open parking spots.
The planned app, Parkmobile, will go active in Bloomington in mid-November and is free. There is a small fee for each transaction.
The app is already active in dozens of other U.S. cities.
