Bedford Man Arrested After Police Find Meth Lab In Trunk Of Vehicle

(BEDFORD) - Police secure arrest warrant and arrested a Bedford man after they found a meth lab in the trunk of a car.

33-year-old Jesse Webb, of 518 Art Gallery Road, was arrested Monday on a warrant for dealing meth, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a precursor and possession of a legend drug.

According to a probable cause affidavit Lawrence County Police were called to a home on Art Gallery Road after Webb's father told police he had let his son use his vehicle and found a meth lab in the trunk.

In the trunk police found the lab, a mason jar with a white substance which tested positive for meth, and two lithium batteries.

Police also found packaging for and packaging containing ephedrin pills, Coleman camp fuel and coffee filters all items used to make meth.

They also found a mason jar containing "pill dough" the by-product of making meth.

They also found 3 syringes, a large purple glass pipe and Risperidone pill, which is a legend drug.

Officers discovered Wal-Mart receipts for ephedrine and Coleman camp fuel, and they watched Wal-Mart security footage of Webb purchasing the items.
