Weekend Disagreement Ends With Two Men In Jail

(WASHINGTON) - On Sunday afternoon 20-year-old Cody Wilson, of Vincennes called Washington Police saying that his girlfriend had kicked him out but would not return the cell phone he let her use.

Wilson told police the woman was at a home on State Road 257. That is when police told him he would have to contact he should contact the Sheriff's Department since the residence was outside of the city limits. That is when Wilson became unhappy.

Just after 7 p.m., police received a 911 call from the home on State Road 257 reporting Wilson was there and he and 55-year-old Robert Pendelton were fighting.

When officers arrived they arrested both Wilson and Pendelton.

Pendleton was charged with battery and Wilson was charged with battery, resisting law enforcement and strangulation.
