Last updated on Friday, November 8, 2013

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured after his truck collided with a parked tractor on Dennison School House Road Thursday night.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 42-year-old Philip Eads, of 492 Wicker Rd., was traveling south on Dennison School House Road when his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado extended pickup truck collided with a 1989 Ford 4610FE tractor owned by John Moore Jr.

The accident happened about 2,900 feet north of Wicker Bottom Road.

Police say Moore had parked his tractor partially in the roadway while he was watering his livestock.

Eads complained of neck pain but refused medical attention. Moore was not injured during the incident.

Police say there was heavy front end damage to Eads' truck and the air bags deployed.
