(WORTHINGTON) - A third person has been arrested in a heroin and morphine dealing investigation by the Greene County Drug Task Force.
Anna Rochelle of the Greene County Daily World reports that 62-year-old Wanda Allisa Gremillion, of Worthington, turned herself in to authorities and was booked in to the Greene County Jail around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
A warrant for Gremillion's arrest was issued on Oct. 3. She retained an attorney and was released from jail Thursday evening after posting $750 cash which was 10 percent of a $7,500 bond.
Worthington Town Marshal Randy Raney was leading the drug investigation with assistance from Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun and Jasonville Police Officer Andrew Duguay and had activities at Gremillion's residence, located at 204 S. Lafayette St. in Worthington, under surveillance in late September.
Gremillion is accused of selling five pills for $50 on Sept. 26 at her home, and of agreeing to sell another five of the same pills though the second transaction did not take place. Police say they are in possession of the five pills she allegedly sold which were identified as Morphine Sulfate SR, 15 mg each.
When Gremillion appears in Greene Circuit Court for an initial hearing, she will be charged with one count of dealing in a schedule II controlled substance, a class B felony.
