(ORLEANS) - The Town of Orleans has announced plans for the second and final workshop concerning the town’s newly implemented tax-increment financing district and appointed Redevelopment Commission.
The workshop is planned for Tuesday November 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. Town officials have engaged the service of Mike Shaver of Wabash Scientific Inc., to guide and assist in the process.
Shaver will lead the informal session explaining the process of TIF, its benefits and its role as a community economic tool.
A question and answer period will be included in the workshop.
