(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was taken for a mental evaluation after she pulled a gun on her family and threatened to shoot them Sunday afternoon.
Lawrence County Police received a 911 call at 3:30 p.m. to a home in the 1300 block of Kenray Lake Road after the woman's daughter called police to report her mother was intoxicated, had a gun and was threatening to kill everyone.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig, when officers arrived another daughter had taken the gun from her mother.
Craig says the woman was taken to a mental facility for an evaluation.
