(BLOOMFIELD) - A suspicion that a Bloomfield woman was involved in pawning stolen goods, from a burglary case that dated back to January 2012, caught up with her after she was recently arrested in connection with a meth lab bust.

The Greene County Daily World reports, 28-year-old Desiree Booker, was arrested September 28 on drug related felonies. Then on Thursday she was charged with receiving stolen property in a new case.

Booker is accused of having a cherry red Gibson electric guitar with a black canvas guitar bag that was reported as stolen from a residence in Lyons back in January 2012.

Following an investigation into the burglary by the Indiana State Police, three men were charged with receiving stolen property -one was Larry Webb, Jr. who was also arrested in connection with the recent meth bust.

It was not until February 2013 that ISP Master Trooper John Yung received information that the stolen guitar had turned up at a pawn shop in Bloomington. Booker sold the guitar and case to Ace Pawn Shop in Bloomington on Feb. 19 for $275.

Booker told police she had received the guitar in March from her ex-father-in-law and ex-husband as a gift for her son.

Booker failed to show up for other follow-up interviews.

Then after Webb and Booker were arrested and accused in the drug case, Trooper Yung interviewed Webb at the Greene County Jail. Webb allegedly admitted that he gave the guitar to Booker then drove her to the pawn shop and waited outside while she sold it. He said he knew the guitar was stolen and just wanted to get rid of it.

In the case of the pawned guitar, Booker is being held on a $4,000 cash or surety bond with ten percent allowed.

In the earlier case, Booker was charged with dealing methamphetamine - manufacturing, a class B felony, and possession of two or more chemical reagents/precursors with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, a class D felony, and is being held on a bond of $15,000 cash or surety bond with ten percent allowed.

A public defender appointed to represent her has filed a motion to reduce bond - a bond reduction hearing is scheduled for later this month.

Both Booker and Webb are accused of purchasing precursors at various locations in Bloomington and manufacturing methamphetamine at a residence on Kelly Branch Road north of Bloomfield.
