Washington police attempted to stop 43-year-old Tracy Miles at the intersection of North East Third and Florence streets early Wednesday morning.

Instead of stopping Miles fled on his moped. After a short pursuit, Miles was apprehended and arrested.

He was arrested on a warrant for petition to revoke probation on dealing meth and resisting arrest. He was cited for disregarding a stop sign, reckless driving and driving left of center. He was taken to the Daviess County Security Center and is being held on a $350,000 bond.
