Trial Date Set For Substitute Teachers Accused Of Sexual Misconduct

(MARTINVILLE) - A March 12th trial date has been set in Morgan County for substitute teacher Robert Yeley.

24-year-old Yeley is accused of having a sexual relationship with an underage student while he was a substitute teacher and assistant band director for the Monroe-Gregg School District in Monrovia.

Yeley is charged with felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and child seduction.

He was the band director in Oblong, Illinois when the charges were filed last month.

He was placed on unpaid leave by the Unit Four School Board.
