Spring Mill State Park Campsite Decorating Contest Winners

(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park announced the winners of its annual Campsite Decorating Contest.

Spring Mill State Park program and volunteer coordinator says about 1,000 residents visited the campgrounds this weekend despite the rainy conditions.

The winners were:

Best in Campground: Steve Walters, of Bedford.

Autumn Harvest: Don and Rita Quebbeman, Bedford.

Scariest Site: First place Pat and Christie Polstan, of Clarksville.
Second place Mike Hunsaker, of Bedford.

Most Creative Site: First place Zella Reynolds, of Mitchell,
Second place Cindy Amstutz, of Williams.

Pumpkin Carving:
Scariest: Trish and Dan Staggs, of Bedford.
Most Creative Haley Vincent, of Noblesville.

The event was sponsored and judged by Root's RV, which provided prizes for first-place, and Spring Mill Inn, which provided second-place prizes.
