(MITCHELL) - The Shawswick 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams won the tournament title Saturday hosted by Mitchell Junior High School.
Participating teams included:
Oolitic Middle School
Bedford Middle School
Shawswick Middle School
Shawswick 7th grade team coached by Brian Young and Elizabeth Kile won the Championship Title by winning a 2 game match against Oolitic Middle School: 25 to 21 and 25 to 23.
The seventh grade players are : Whitlee Hignite, Natalie Thompson,Jorie Allen, Jolynn Kline, Abbie Lee and Sadie Barnes, Mallori Beyers, Lexi Lindsey, Savanna Van Hoy and Kassie Kile
Shawswick 8th grade team coached by Brian Young and Elizabeth Kile won the Championship Title by winning a 3 game match against Mitchell Jr High: 25 to 23, 16 to 25 (MJH won) and 15 to 12.
Shawswick team members include: Jenna Norman, Maleah Harrell, Andrea Lee, Maleah Chaney, Kaiti Siedl, Sarah Peterson, Avery Anderson, Shelby Bartlett
