Orleans Man Injured After His Vehicle Was Rear-Ended By Semi

(MITCHELL) - An Orleans man was injured Monday morning after his vehicle was rear-ended by a semi-tractor trailer on Ind. 37 north at Hancock Avenue.

According to a Mitchell Police report, 55-year-old William Kinser, of Mooresville was traveling north on Ind. 37 north when he came upon a 1996 International driven by 54-year-old Carl Gilstrap.

Kinser told police he didn't realize how slow the truck was traveling and applied his brakes but was unable to slow down and rear-ended the International.

Kinser was not injured, by Gilstrap complained of head pain and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
