No Children Injured When Monroe Co. School Bus Hit Train Trestle

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police worked a school bus accident in the 9600 block West Elwren Road, Monday afternoon.

According to Monroe County Chief Deputy Mike Pershing, none of the six children on the school bus were injured when a Monroe County Community School Corp. bus, headed east on Elwren Road, took a turn under a train trestle too sharply and struck the concrete trestle.

The children's parents were called to the scene to pick them up.
