(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Saturday after a domestic fight in the 1100 block of Camelot Courts Friday.
Mitchell police received a 911 call at 6:20 p.m. from a woman reporting her husband was choking his mother.
When police arrived they notified Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department first responders and a Seals ambulance because the woman was suffering from neck pain.
The woman was taken to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
Police found 31-year-old James Stapleton at his apartment and he was arrested on charges of domestic battery causing injury and two counts of strangulation.
Police did not say what started the verbal dispute that turned physical.
