(BLOOMINGTON) - The sons of Hoosier rocker John Mellencamp were expected in court Thursday but the hearing was postponed until Nov. 14.
Hud and Speck Mellencamp along with Ty Smith, the son of IU's baseball coach, are accused of brutally beating a Bloomington man in July.
The 19-year-old victim told police that the Mellencamps and Smith came by his home after a party and attacked him. He was left with serious injuries to his face.
The three men face felony battery charges.
