(BEDFORD) - Police were notified that 27-year-old Todd Voorhies, of 1015 16th St., was being treated at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital after he was involved in a scooter accident.

According to a Bedford Police report, Voorhies was traveling wast on 16th Street at H Street and told police he had the green light. He told police another vehicle was traveling north on H Street and turning east on 16th Street when that vehicle turned in front of him and he had to lay the scooter down on its side to avoid a collision with the other vehicle.

Voorhies, who suffered a cut on his left elbow and arm, told the other driver he was fine, but later decided to go to the hospital for treatment.

Voorhies told police he had no information about the other driver. And his 2008 Extreme scooter was not at the hospital for police to look at.
