(BLOOMFIELD) - Randal Crosley, one of two men awaiting trial for the murder of Katelyn Wolfe, is under investigation by Avon Police for possible involvement in a bank robbery.

Anna Rochelle of the Greene County Daily World reports that Detective Brian Nugent was on the scene of a branch of the Chase Bank located on US Highway 36 in Avon after police were called on May 3, 2012 shortly after the robbery took place. He's continued to investigate, but didn't get a break in the case until Oct. 1 of this year when someone called the department with a tip. The caller implicated a teller at the bank, 20-year-old Jennifer Hunsacker, who has been arrested.

Police say a man entered the bank, handed the teller a note demanding cash while making threats he had a weapon. The teller put $5,000 in a bag and the robber fled the bank and was later picked up by someone driving a dark-colored car.

Crosley is suspected of being the getaway driver.

Nugent has contacted Crosley's attorney and is awaiting the results of a DNA test on an important piece of evidence; the note, found at the scene; before questioning Crosley. Officials found DNA of a male on the hand written note and are waiting to see if it's Crosley's.

At first there was some confusion on if the robber was a male or female. Police determined it was a black male dressed as a woman.

Armed with another tip officers arrested 21-year-old Brandon Saloane, of Indianapolis, who police allege was the robber.

He is charged with criminal confinement armed with a deadly weapon, robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, intimidation with a deadly weapon and theft.

Saloane admitted to police he was the robber and named Crosley as the getaway driver.

Hunsacker allegedly admitted to her involvement and she identified Saloane as the gunman and Crosley as the driver. She also told police she received some of the money from the robbery and she used it to buy a new television.

Police say Crosley was Hunsacker's boyfriend at the time of the robbery and that Crosley was friends with Saloane. Crosley and Saloane met and became friends when they both worked at a Dunkin' Donuts in Brownsburg.

No charges have been filed against Crosley in the bank robbery case pending the results of the DNA test.

25-year-old Crosley, and 26-year-old Jordan Buskirk, both of Jasonville, are accused of the murder of Katelyn Wolfe in early June. Both men were charged in Greene Superior Court on June 14 with felony murder; conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit rape, and criminal confinement.

Crosley was also charged with two counts of dealing in a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Both men are being held without bond in the Greene County Jail without bond.

Buskirk and Crosley are accused of murdering Wolfe at a rural location in Greene County then dumping her body into a body of water in Sullivan County.

Buskirk's case is set for a trial by jury on February 3, 2014.

Crosley's case is set for a trial by jury on March 3, 2014.
