(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police are investigating two burglaries.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, the crime was reported at 3:48 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of BJ Boulevard in Hillside Estates.

According to Craig, the woman reported she heard a noise in her garage and went to investigate.

There she found a man wearing a gray hooded-sweatshirt who had pushed her vehicle out of her garage and was loading it with her tools and other items from the garage.

When the man saw the woman, he fled on foot.

Police were unable to find the man.

The second burglary was reported at 10:47 p.m. when a resident in the 4200 block of State Road 446 came home and found one of the windows broken on his home.

He then discovered one of his pistols was missing.
