Indiana Rep. Central Committee Chairman Tim Berry To Speak At Orange County Republican Fall Dinner

(PAOLI) - Tim Berry, chairman of the Indiana Republican Central Committee, will be the featured speaker at the Orange County Republican Fall Dinner on Monday.

Carry-outs will be available at 6 p.m. and the dinner begins at 7 p.m. at Paoli High School.

Tickets are available from any Orange County Republican officeholder, precinct committeemen or committeewomen or other GOP committee officers. Jack Hinkle, Carolyn Clements, Robert F. Henderson and Marshall Noble serve as officers of the Orange County Republican Committee.

Berry served as state auditor from January 2007 to August 2013. He also was elected Indiana Republican state chairman in July.

In his role as state treasurer from 1999 to 2007, Berry earned a record $1.7 billion for Hoosier taxpayers through his targeted investment of state dollars. He also led the effort to provide tax incentives for families saving for their children's college education through the CollegeChoice 529 Plan, and returned 12 percent of his budget back to the state general fund.
Other officials, or their representatives, expected to attend the event will include 9th District Rep. Todd Young, Indiana House District 73 Rep. Steve Davisson and Indiana House District 74 Rep. Lloyd Arnold.

The Orange County offices up for election in 2014 will be assessor, sheriff, surveyor, prosecutor, District 1 commissioner and the four county council districts.

All Republican supporters, candidates, office holders and those interested are invited to attend the event.
