(BEDFORD) - Downtown Bedford business and building owners could see their buildings get a facelift thanks to the Stellar Grant.
Business and building owners are asked to attend a Stellar facade informational meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Bedford Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room.
Earlier this year, the City of Bedford was designated as a Stellar Community by the State of Indiana.
Bedford's Stellar Community application focused on revitalizing its downtown. As a downtown business/building owner, your building may be eligible to participate in the Stellar Community Facade project and receive grant funding (80/20 match) to renovate your building's exterior facade.
Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) will have a staff person available to discuss BRI/Indiana Main Street, as well as Trena Carter, the Stellar Facade OCRA Program Grant Administrator.
