(BLOOMINGTON) - A 62-year-old man died Wednesday after collapsing while walking in the 3200 block of South Walnut Springs Drive.
According to Bloomington Sgt. Joe Crider, a witness told police they saw the man fall, strike his head and go unconscious.
At 12:30 p.m. emergency crews were alerted. When they arrived they began CPR at the scene and continued in CPR in the ambulance.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
