(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police were called to the 200 block of South Kimble Drive early Monday morning after a 62-year-old man reported that three men forced their way into his apartment and stole his cellphone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider, the man told police he heard a knock at the door and when he opened the door the suspects, described as three men in their early 20s, forced him to the living room floor, bound him and then stole the items.

The men were not wearing masks and had no weapon.

Anyone with information about the incident are asked to call Bloomington police.
