Bedford Woman Faces More Charges After Police Find Drugs

(BEDFORD) - 38-year-old Lisa McPerson of Bedford is now facing additional charges after she was wanted on warrants in another county.

McPherson was arrested Monday at 6:30 p.m. on new charges of possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a syringe.

According to Sheriff Sam Craig, Lawrence County police were asked by another county to look for McPerhson because of possible criminal activity.

Officers saw McPerson driving a vehicle and stopped her and arrested her on two warrants for petition to revoke probation. During the traffic stop police found the drugs and other items in her vehicle.

She remains in the Lawrence County jail without bond.
