Western Film Star Don Collier Will Visit Red Rock Wild West Town Sept. 21

(ORLEANS) - Iconic Western film and TV star Don Collier will appear at Red Rock Wild West Town from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 21. Red Rock is at 8329 N. CR 725 W., Orleans.

Collier has made more than 70 credited movie and television appearances with John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, Anthony Quinn, Dean Martin, Tom Selleck, James Arness and even Elvis. He is best known as ranch foreman Sam Butler on "The High Chaparral" and as Marshall Will Foreman on "Outlaws."

Red Rock Wild West Town is operated by Terry McKnight.

Entrance fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Collier will have photos for sale.

Although the wild west town has an Orleans address, it is closer to State Road 60 west of Mitchell than it is to State Road 37. To get to the site, go west of Mitchell on Ind. 37 at the Georgia compactor site, go right at the T, go under the conveyor for Mitchell Crushed Stone to T, go right for 2.5 miles, driveway on right.
