Washington County's Relay For Life Will Host Bark For Life October 5

(SALEM) - Washington County's American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will host a Bark for Life on October 5 at Lake Salinda.

Owners will lead their pets or vice versa on a 1.4 mile walk around the lake.

Event Leader Janet Hinds says dog owners must agree to have their dogs on leashes.

Two-legged participants receive T-shirts and dogs can qualify for bandanas and Bark for Life leashes.

Registration is $25 per dog. Walk day registration is from 8.a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with the walk beginning at 8:30 a.m..

Registration forms are available at area veterinarians' offices and at other businesses or go online to barkforlife.org.
