(BEDFORD) - Two people were arrested after Lawrence County Police were called to a home on East Mystic Lake Drive Monday night.
Officers were called to the home at 6:50 p.m.
There they arrested 40-year-old Jeffery Tillette and 32-year-old Melanie Pridemore on charges of domestic battery, battery and two counts of battery in the presence of a minor.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig, Tillette and Pridemore both had facial injuries.
"But none required medical treatment," Craig says. "There was a five-week old infant and a 14-month-old present during the fight."
Child Services were called and removed the children from the home and placed them in the care of a relative.
