(BEDFORD) - Bedford police arrested 27-year-old Cory Kern, of 1408 Togdon Lane on a theft charge and 32-year-old Leah Tincher, of 17 East View Court , for receiving stolen property after the two were caught breaking into vehicles in the 500 block of V Street Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
Bedford Police Assistant Chief Joe DeWees says officers found the two riding on a stole bicycle in the 700 block of P Street after police received calls about the break ins.
Officers recovered CD players and other numerous items that will be returned to their owners.
DeWees say the case is still under investigation and other charges could be pending.
