(ORLEANS) - The Town of Orleans and the Orleans Chamber of Commerce announce “Fall Town-Wide Clean Sweep Week” starting September 30 through Saturday, October 5th.

The Orleans Town crews will be picking up large residential discard type items that week at no charge. Household trash will also be collected.

Town residents may call the Orleans Town offices 865-2539 for pick-up.

The Chamber also invites the community to help make our hometown pretty and volunteer to clean-up streets and your neighborhood.

The Chamber will provide trash bags to interested parties who will clean up a designated area within the town limits.

The town will pick-up trash that volunteers collected.

Organizers gladly welcome participation from any of the local area groups, civic, youth etc. who may be interested in being a part of the cleanup effort or clean up a designated area around town.

Interested persons should notify the Chamber 865-9930 so that organizers can keep track of all covered areas.

Help make our community prettier and participate in the 2013 Fall Town-Wide Clean Sweep Week!
