(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell woman suffered a compound fracture of her leg after she crashed her car on Woodville Road Tuesday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police Report 20-year-old Kristen N. Jones was traveling west on Woodville Road, near Rabbitsville Road in a 1999 Chrysler when she was picking up her cell phone, lost control of the vehicle and hit a utility pole.
Assisting at the scene was a Rural Metro Ambulance, Bedford Fire Department extrication and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department first responders.
