Mitchell Couple Threatened With Knife

(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police are investigating an incident that happened early Sunday morning.

According to police, officers received a 911 call at 1:48 a.m. at a home on West Grissom Avenue. According to the caller two men came to her door with a knife and threatened her and her boyfriend over money.

No one was injured during the altercation.

The woman told police she didn't know the man and his son, but later told police she did. The son left on foot and the father got into an older tan Buick.

The woman wrote down the license number but when police ran the number it came back not on file.

Police were unable to locate the two men. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call The Mitchell Police Department
