Mitchell Community Public Library Offering Workshops

(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Community Public Library has scheduled three workshops for next week.

Beginning Thursday from 2p.m. to 4 p.m., participants can learn how to grow fresh produce year-round using sprouts. All participants will receive free sprout samples.

On Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Homeschool Art Series will introduce children ages 5 to 15 to the classic painting technique pointillism. No registration is required; play clothes are encouraged.

On Saturday from 1p.m. to 3 p.m., people can check out seeds from the library's newly unveiled heirloom seed collection and get more information on how to collect seeds.

The Friends of the Library will conduct a bag sale during September. Fill up on books for $2 a bag.
