(MITCHELL) - Mitchell High School’s senior Mia Brooke Burton was named the 2013 Persimmon Festival Queen Monday night on the Main Stage.
Mia is the daughter of Linda and Steve Burton.
She participates in varsity basketball and varsity softball,
Mai wants to become a lawyer and plans to attend Indiana University in Bloomington and major in political science.
Her hobbies include giving back to the community and she participated in the United Way Day of Caring.
Her sponsor is the Mitchell-Orleans Exchange Club.
