(BROWNSTOWN) - A 47-year-old man who pleaded guilty to a Class B felony county of child molesting received a 10-year prison term on Aug. 28 in Jackson Circuit Court.
Jerry L. Stanton of Seymour received that sentence from Senior Judge Bill Vance, who ordered Stanton to pay court costs and a $500 public defender fee and to register as a sex offender.
Stanton and his brother, Paul E. Stanton, 56, were arrested by state troopers in February 2012 after a month long investigation into reports a 9-year-old boy had been abused by a family member.
