Linton Teen Injured After Falling From 4-Wheeler

(LINTON) - A Linton teenager was transported to an Indianapolis hospital after a four-wheeler accident Thursday night.

According to the Greene County Sheriff's Department, 17-year-old Vera Shidler, was driving her four-wheeler on the trails at the Linton Conservation Club at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday when she lost control of the vehicle and fell from it.

Shidler complained of head and leg pain and was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis by helicopter.

Methodist Hospital is not releasing information on the severity of Shidler's injuries.

Greene County Sheriff's Department Officer Jordan Gooding and Linton Police Department Officer Tom Jerrels worked the case.
