Driver Injured After Running Red Light

(BEDFORD) - A Seymor woman was injured after she ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at the intersection of 18 and M streets Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police report, 58-year-old Betty Bogard, of Mitchell, was traveling north on M Street when 31-year-old Keri Green, who was traveling east on 18th Street ran the stop light and collided with Bogard's 2001 Buick LeSabre.

Green told police she had a cat in her 1995 Chevrolet Beretta and was attempting to get the cat out of the window when she ran the red light.

Green complained of pain to her lower leg and foot.

Bogard was not injured.

Green was cited for disregarding an automatic signal.
