(MITCHELL) - Cindy King took home top honors in the Mitchell Persimmon Festival persimmon pudding contest Saturday.
King took the top honor out of 69 entries. Juanita Terry placed second. Patty Winner took first place with Rita Hines taking second in the novelty dessert category. There were 29 entries in that division. The winner in the photo contest was Pete Horton, who took best of show.
