(EVANSVILLE) - The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the death of a Daviess County man.
WFIE reports, on Tuesday morning around 6:30, dispatch received a call from constructions workers, regarding a truck spotted at the bottom of a steep embankment.
They reported it was at 11179 US Highway 431 north.
Emergency Personal responded and located the 1998 Dodge truck and found Daniel P. Crowe III inside of the vehicle.
Crowe was pronounced dead at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroners Office.
First responders are uncertain when the accident may have occurred.
An Autopsy was performed Tuesday to determine whether or not the accident was the cause of death.
