(BEDFORD) - BNL's 7th annual Talentpalooza competition for high school students to earn cash prizes is Monday.
Twenty acts chosen from the audition round will perform at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5.
Last year, about 600 people attended.
The show is a fundraiser for the BNL vocal music department, and it also is one of the first events of BNL homecoming week.
Brian Samarzea, choir teacher and organizer of Talentpalooza, says students are great supporters of the event, but he would like more people to come and see the talents of BNL students.
A panel of judges awards prizes of $100, $50 and $25. The audience also votes for a $25 fan favorite award.
